In Just One Week...

....I will be on an airplane off to sunny Florida and Disney! Yippee! I have tons to do before we go, so my posts may be a bit short and infrequent. Who knows? Maybe I'll get done quick and get to scrap before I go. I guess only time will tell.

If any of you guys have any suggestions on things "not to miss" while in Disney, please leave a comment here. I have not been there in almost 20 years, and I want to try to get as much in as possible. Let's make a RAK out of this. Post a Disney suggestion here before this Friday the 25th. I will then pick a winner for a fun scrapbooking goodie package. Cool!

So, I did get some scrapbooking time in yesterday. I used some fun Fancy Pants goodies...one of my favorite companies!

I also used some acrylic paint for the title letters. I haven't used paint in ages! It was fun. I also used some Coasters from Imagination Project...I really miss that company. Good to have some stash when you need it, huh?

Well, off to start the day. Have a great one and thanks for stopping by!

  7. Gorgeous lo, love your home decor idea below and the Bewitching lo is amazing!!

I hadn't been to Disney in 20 years until this May. We went for 2weeks and had a blast. Things to not miss: Mickey's Philharmagic (cool 3-d show), Splash Mountain, Thunder Railroad, depending on your kid's ages.. Tea Cups, and the classic kids rides. Buzz Lightyear ride was my ds's fav (he's 5).

Epcot: Crash test, Mission Space (not for small kids), the flying one (can't recall the name), Nemo.

Animal Kingdom: Mt. Everest, Safari ride, all the nature walks, the Dinosaur ride (can't recall the name), It's a bug's life show..

Hollywood Studios: Rockin' Rollercoaster, Haunted Mansion.

Tips: if you're staying on ground take advantage of the early entry. Get in and get fast passes. Fast passes save SO much time!! Go get a fast pass at the most popular rides first. (You can only get one fast pass per hour).

If any of your kids are too small to ride take advantage of ride switch. Dh & I did for the big roller coasters and had NO wait for the 2nd person.

I could go on and on, but e-mail if you have ANY questions. :0)

  19. My hubby and I JUST got back from Disney last week. We left our littles with family, so I don't have much advice for your kiddos. I will say to be sure to plan as much as you can and keep your eye on the time - it flies when you're there!!

    Have a blast :)

  20. You are going to have an awesome time. We went four years ago and they have added attractions since then. At M.K. I recommend Space Mountain. At MGM, Tower of Terror. I have the cutest pic of my 5 year old on that ride. At Animal Kingdom, Kilamjaro. I can't say that have a favorite at Epcot.

  21. love the layout!!!

My suggestion for Disney... have fun!

I haven't been in a while, but I believe they still have the FAST PASS. I think that is a great idea. You get your time for the ride and then you just need to come back for the scheduled time. You don't have to wait a long time in line anymore.
