What a difference a year makes

I'm not sure whether a year has made my boy look older or younger. This picture was taken last March at Chuck E. Cheese:

And this picture was taken just a few weeks ago:

First off, he has a lot more hair this year, and I think it makes him look younger. My sister thinks that the hair makes him look older. I don't know what made me let his hair grow out. It has always been so much easier to just shave his head because I could do that myself. With his hair longer, we have to head to the local barber shop for a professional job. I'm thinking that I will leave it long until the summer arrives. But, then it is "bye bye"! His best buddy sports a mohawk for the summer months, but Ryan has not warmed up to that idea yet. I'll have to remind him of that 5 years from now when all the middle school boys are sporting the Mr. T look and he asks me to give him one! Saying that scares me just a bit...5 years from now will be here before we know it. Mom always said that time goes by faster the older you get. She was so right...but don't tell her that...LOL!

Either way, I still think my boy is pretty darn cute!
