That's my boy!

Ryan has become quite conditioned to smiling for the camera. After all, I've been following him around for almost 9 years trying to capture him in all of his moments. That's a good thing....I guess. However, it sometimes makes for some dull pictures of him just smiling nice to get his picture taken. So, the other day as we were outside watching a neighborhood cat frolic through our yard, I told him not to smile for me, but to just be himself (whatever that means). This is what I got:
I guess I should be careful what I ask for!

  5. doesn't matter what kind of expression he's got on his face... the camera LOVES that kid -such a cutie patootie!

    get those pics while you can! my boys just put their big ol mitts up and block the camera these days *sigh*

  7. you know he's giving you the sign language for "i love you," right? The devil horns are when you tuck your thumb in front of your middle and ring finger.

    so, he's telling you that he loves you. that's a good thing, right?
